A log cabin on the edge of the wild.
Hand-built from local spruce. A wood stove that keeps your gear dry, a breakfast that gets you to the river before sunrise, and a porch for the cocktail afterwards.
Half an acre of quiet, just off Dangerous River Road.
Anglers Rest is a three-bedroom B&B inside our private log home — built with locally harvested spruce on the edge of town, in ASHA. Two bunk rooms share a wing; the Salmon Suite has its own.
A community kitchen, a wood stove, two decks for two different suns. Your hosts live on site — we'll cook you breakfast, swap stories, and otherwise leave you to your trip.

Steelhead. Salmon. Halibut. Silence.
Yakutat is the best steelhead river in Alaska, a short flight from ocean-fishing for salmon, halibut, and rockfish. It's also a glacier, a surf town, a tern colony, and a beach that runs farther than you can walk.
